After almost seeming like a shoe-in for an introductory Nexus 100 app, Flipboard has finally become available for most, if not all, Android tablets, including the Nexus 10.

Flipboard is a social magazine which brings some of your social feeds and RSS news feed into a visual template, fused as one experience.  You flip through pages of your friends’ latest pictures and status updates, all blended together with the hot news stories of the day so you’re not jumping from app to app.

It’s definitely a relief to finally see this great app available for tablets in the Play Store, as it surely adds a much-needed piece to the starving Android tablet app ecosystem.

Nightlies for the very popular Cyanogenmod are now downloadable for those with unlocked devices.  It is a basic version of Android, similar to what’s already on the Nexus 10 with tons of customizable features and under-the-hood tweaks and optimizations.

These first nightlies could very well be unstable, so make sure you understand your Nexus 10 might not be at its peak performance until all the kinks are worked out and some release candidates or final builds become available.

Here’s a handy little tool for checking the stock levels of Nexus 10 tablets across the globe.

It’s a little slow to load, but that’s mainly because it’s probably the only tool of its type, and extremely useful.  If you’re looking to purchase your Nexus 10 directly from Google, be sure to check this site out for a quick look at inventory levels.

Over at PowerBookMedic, they got their hands on a Nexus 10 and decided to completely disassemble it in a way similar to iFixit.  They don’t find any hidden gems inside, but it does seem pretty easy to repair.  The LCD screen and digitizer are fused together, which is usually how it goes these days in the names of device thinness.
