After almost seeming like a shoe-in for an introductory Nexus 100 app, Flipboard has finally become available for most, if not all, Android tablets, including the Nexus 10.

Flipboard is a social magazine which brings some of your social feeds and RSS news feed into a visual template, fused as one experience. You flip through pages of your friends’ latest pictures and status updates, all blended together with the hot news stories of the day so you’re not jumping from app to app.

It’s definitely a relief to finally see this great app available for tablets in the Play Store, as it surely adds a much-needed piece to the starving Android tablet app ecosystem.

There are a couple of very detailed, comprehensive guides available for the Nexus 10 that will teach you tips and tricks you can’t learn from the official user manual.

The first book is called: Nexus 10 Guide: Master Your Tablet in Just One Evening.

With this book, Erik Marcus covers all of the information in the user guide, but breaks it down in a way that’s entertaining to read and not as boring as reading a whole user manual would be. The book is written with a new tablet user in mind, so you definitely won’t be overwhelmed with complicated information. The best part about this book is it’s designed to get you completely acquainted with the Nexus 10 in a single evening!

The second book is called: Nexus 10 Guide: The Unwritten Manual.

This book is available through Amazon’s Kindle service as an e-book, and serves as a more concise user manual. This guide is written in a very easy-to-follow format that will get you comfortable using the Nexus 10 in no time. You’ll also figure out some things about it that are not covered by Google in the official manual.
